These terms are the agreement between you and Ideyo for the use of ideyo.io and the Ideyo application. By creating an account you accept them. If you use Ideyo for an organization, you accept them on its behalf.
01The service
Ideyo is an AI agent that takes an idea through a pipeline: a study and a verdict, a specification, a design, the build, quality checks and delivery to your GitHub. The service evolves; we may change or remove features, and we tell you in advance when a change significantly affects a paid plan.
02Your account
Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us at once at security@ideyo.io if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for what is done with your account. An account is for one person; plans may not be shared or resold.
03Your content and your code
You keep all rights to what you put into Ideyo (ideas, messages, files) and to what Ideyo produces for you (studies, specifications, designs, code). You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store and process that content and send it to the providers and to GitHub, as described in the privacy policy. We do not use it to train models.
04AI-generated deliverables
Deliverables are generated by AI models. They can contain errors, outdated facts or code defects, and a verdict is an opinion, not a guarantee of commercial success. Review them before you rely on them, especially before you deploy code or make a financial, legal or medical decision. Ideyo does not give legal, financial or medical advice.
When you publish content that Ideyo produced, follow the rules on AI-generated content that apply where you publish it.
05Your keys and the providers
When you use your own API keys, you are bound by each provider’s terms and you pay its charges directly. Budget caps limit what Ideyo spends per project, but you remain responsible for your provider accounts and their limits. Do not use a key you are not entitled to use.
06Plans, purchases and payment
Plans are billed monthly in advance, by card, and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
One-off purchases (a study, a managed project) are paid once, by card or, in the UEMOA zone, by mobile money. For a managed project, Ideyo pays for model inference up to the stated cap (US$120) and asks for your agreement before going beyond it. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes are added where they apply.
07Refunds
A study or a project starts consuming model calls as soon as it runs, so one-off purchases are not refundable once the run has started, unless the run fails because of Ideyo, in which case we run it again or refund you. This does not limit any right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
08Acceptable use
You agree to follow the acceptable use policy. We may suspend a project or an account that breaks it, after notice where possible.
09GitHub and other services
Connecting GitHub lets Ideyo create repositories, push branches and open pull requests in your account, within the permissions you grant. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.
10Availability
We work to keep Ideyo available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep your own copies: your code lives in your GitHub, and your documents can be downloaded at any time.
11Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ideyo is not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data, business interruption), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act or the consumer law of your country.
12Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from your settings. We may end the agreement if you seriously breach these terms. Either way, you can export your documents first, and your code stays in your GitHub.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, unless the law of your place of residence gives you the right to another forum.
14Changes and contact
We post changes here with a new date and notify you by email at least 30 days before a change that materially affects you. Questions: hello@ideyo.io.
